The inclined angle of the inclined wall of the horizontal three-phase separator and the horizontal inclination angle is 50&, so that the sludge deposited on the inclined plate does not gather and stay, and can slide back to the reaction zone as soon as possible. This angle also determines the height of the three-phase separator. This height is generally 0.5 to 1.0 m.

The horizontal three phase separator should make the biogas bubbles not enter the sedimentation zone as much as possible to affect the sedimentation effect. The shielding between the reflector and the gap should be 100-200mm, and the area of the gap of the gas-collecting chamber accounts for 15%-20% of the total reactor area.
